High Technology Lighting has bought Bury-based Creative LED Solutions.

The sale is part of High Technology Lighting’s strategy to grow market share, including overseas markets, and expand its technical expertise. In August the company appointed a distributor in Sweden and similar partnerships are in the pipeline in other countries. The two companies already have a long-standing working relationship.

Thomas Holgeth, joint managing director of High Technology Lighting, said: “The agreement with Creative LED Solutions exploits the natural synergies between the two companies, particularly in R&D.”

“We are looking forward to developing our portfolio of unique products, with an emphasis on sustainability,” he added.

Creative LED Solutions’ Brian Rogerson said: “We know the team at High Technology Lighting very well, as we have been working together on projects for a number of years.”
