How to apply 3D Mink Fur Lashes with Cotton Band?

How To: Apply False Eyelashes Easily

Let’s be honest. While some of us are endowed with thick, luscious eyelashes, the rest of us have to settle with ones that are thin, sparse and nearly inconspicuous. Not everyone can have Kim K. eyelashes – or so we thought.

Hoorah for false eyelashes – our beacon of hope! “Shouldn’t I just leave applying false eyelashes to the professionals?” No! It’s easy! Think of it as a DIY project. Read on for an easy-to-follow guide on how to put on fake eyelashes properly.

First, decide on what type of false eyelashes you want – natural false eyelashes for your everyday/office look, full-glamorous false eyelashes for a night on the town or maybe you’d like to try out those avant-garde types of false eyelashes for a fun photo shoot with friends.

Now, the application:

1. Applying false eyelashes should be done after applying your face and eye make-up. Like cherry on top of an ice cream, bat worthy eyelashes round off any type of look you’re sporting.

2. Take out your false eyelashes. Start with your dominant side. Gently peel off the eyelash from its rack. Now, place it over one eye to see if it fits. If not, don’t worry, you can trim it according to the length of your own eye. Do the same with the other false eyelash.

This is important: This is a common mistake when trimming false eyelashes. Make sure that you trim the correct end. Most false eyelashes are thin on one end, which goes on the inner corner, and thick on the other, which goes on the outer corner. Again, trim the correct end.

3.  It’s time for glue! Most packs of false eyelashes already have their own glue inside. The glues are especially designed for the purpose of applying false lashes so don’t worry – you will not go blind. If your false eyelashes don’t come with glue, you can always buy individual ones at your local department store/ cosmetics counter.

a. Hold one end of your false eyelash and thinly coat the back part with glue.

b. Wait for about 30 seconds to a minute. The false eyelash will adhere better as the glue dries a little but don’t let it dry too long.

And yet another important thing to remember: Do step 3 with one false eyelash at a time to avoid drying of the glue completely.

4. This is it! Hold your prepped eyelash and carefully place it along your normal lash line. Steady as she goes – as close to your normal lash line as possible. At this point, the glue won’t be 100% dry yet so take a cotton swab (you can also use the handle of your make-up brush) and then push the base of the false eyelash downward to make sure that it is as close to the lash line as possible. Repeat this step with your other eye.

5. Wait until the glue dries entirely. Make sure to apply eyeliner to any gaps in between the false eyelashes and your real eyelashes. Open up your peepers and Ta-da!

No – you may not leave those on for the entire day.

Here’s what you do to remove your false eyelashes:

1. Put some non-oil based make-up remover on a cotton pad.

2. Apply the pad on your eye and hold.

3. Lastly, gently remove the false eyelashes by peeling.

Good as new!
