The three-axis option is most widely used in manufacturing, industrial operations and mechanical parts in construction.
The process uses three spindles (X, Y, and Z) to shave the material into the desired shape. This process is not suitable for deep or narrow parts, because it can only effectively reach deep or narrow cavities in the material, and may increase labor intensity. As the industry needs new updates to meet the needs of users, the 3 + 1 and 3 + 2 options narrow the gap to a five-axis alternative.
The working principle of CNC milling machine. On traditional metal cutting machine tools, when processing parts, operators need to constantly change the parameters such as the trajectory and speed of the tool according to the requirements of the drawing, so that the tool can cut the workpiece, and finally process qualified parts.
The tool moves along three axes: X, Y and Z, or width, length and depth. These axial movements in three dimensions involve two linear channels and a cutting head with a spindle. The main axis represents an axis because it works with the width and length axis.
