The functions of plate and gasket heat exchanger’s each component are as follows




 



1. Heat transfer plate

The heat transfer plate is the main heat exchange element of the heat exchanger. Generally, the corrugation is in the shape of a figure. According to the different fluid media, the material of the heat transfer plate is also different. Most of them are made of stainless steel and titanium.

2.Sealing gasket

The sealing gasket of the plate heat exchanger mainly plays a sealing role between the heat exchange plates. Materials include: nitrile rubber, EPDM rubber, fluororubber, etc. Different rubbers are used according to different media.

3.Pressure plate at both ends

The pressure plates at both ends are mainly used to clamp and compress all heat transfer plates, ensuring that the fluid medium does not leak.

4.Clamping bolt

The clamping bolt mainly serves to tighten the pressure plates at both ends. Clamping bolts are usually double threaded, and when pre tightening the bolts, the torque of the fixing plate is evenly distributed.

5.Hanger

Mainly used to support heat exchange plates, making them easy to disassemble, clean, and assemble.
